Hello Ya'll!
We hope all you Mamas out there had a wonderful Mother's Day! We sure enjoyed our time off.
We skipped this past week of Strawberry U-picking because we were gearing up for The Tallahassee Farmer's Market Spring Festival. And it was such a HUGE hit! Our Amazing Farmers & kitchen staff picked over 100 lbs of strawberries that were sent to the Market and they ALL sold out!!! So needless to say we were really excited about that. :)
With that being said, we are very excited to announce our next Strawberry U-pick is THIS SATURDAY, May 14th, 9am-12pm. So come early, if you want to get the best strawberries (or strawberries at all!! lol)!
You can park along the road of Cedar Hill. Please bring your own basket or bag, or we can provide some clam shells (the plastic container strawberries come in). The strawberries will be $5.50/lb.
Don't forget to visit our Farm Store, right across the street from the fields. We are open every Wed-Fri 11am-5pm & Saturdays 9am-4pm. We will be carrying lots of yummy popsicles, fresh eggs, farm fresh milk & NEW flavors of Ice Cream, from our friends at Southern Craft Creamery, in Marianna, FL. We'll also be carrying fresh goat cheeses from Grateful Hill Farm, assorted cheeses from Sweet Grass Dairy, ice cold beers from Deep Water Brewing Company & Oyster City.
We are very proud to introduce our NEW Grab N Go's! There will be Turkey Wraps made with Turkey, Provolone, our very own Basil Pesto & Arugula from the farm, tomatoes & salt & pepper. We will also have mini cheese boards, for a light snack. And we'll have some fresh homemade Grab N Go's, to enjoy outside under our umbrellas or on our front porch.
We really hope you can make because our Strawberry U-picks will only be a little while longer!! So come & pick 'em while you can!
